Emily Maynard absence reason Ashley is exploited on 'Bachelorette 2011?

Monday, 6 June 2011

Is the absence of Emily Maynard on "The Bachelorette" 2011 reason for Ashley Hebert being exploited in season 7? All through Brad Womack's season of "The Bachelor," Reality Steve ran the hype that Emily would be the next "Bachelorette" for 2011, but as it turned out, Ashley was the one.
Since night one, Emily's name has been mentioned time and time again on the show, especially by Bentley Williams. The world knows he wishes Maynard was "The Bachelorette" instead of poor Ashley. Are the producers purposely exploiting Ashley for the sake of ratings? For the first time ever, a group date will go out of their way to hurt the woman they're suppose to be impressing by saying mean spirited things about her at a roast. The show will subject Ashley to some very painful insults -- especially over the fact she's not Emily Maynard.
Not only will jokes be made about the size of Ashley breasts or the fact she's not the hottest woman for the show, but she will be insulted on every level. Is this an attempt by producers to hint that even they themselves wish Emily Maynard was "The Bachelorette" for 2011? All of her scenes in Brad's season were of a perfect barbie doll who was still dealing with trauma of losing her daughter, Ricki's father in a plane crash in 2004.
The entire season has been different from any other season. Emily's absence on "The Bachelorette" was a factor that brought out an insecure side of Ashley at the start. After episode 3, her worst fears will be confirmed.
"The Bachelorette" 2011 airs Monday nights on ABC in Portland, Ore.'s KATU channel 2 at 8:00 p.m., PT.
