As we all expected, Activision’s E3 lineup is mainly focused on Call of Duty, along with Modern Warfare 3 as well as the latest Call of Duty Elite service on display. Though, the company is going to exhibit Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure, bringing stuffed toys to the gaming console; in addition to a sequel to Prototype; new Spider-Man, X-Men including Transformers games; and an original virtual pets title for Nintendo DS.
Modern Warfare 3 will undoubtedly become the star of the show. Gaming enthusiasts can expect lots more in the modes of gameplay at the show, while Activision assures “advances [to] the 60fps Modern Warfare tech to deliver exhilarating, action-packed experiences across single player, Special Ops and online multiplayer modes.”
Call of Duty Elite will be put on show, as well, and Activision will be including the features it considers are “totally new to the gaming industry” for example the Groups feature. This innovative feature lets players to socialize based on preference, interests or affiliations and after that automatically follow the new connections into a game.
