Kate Moss wedding: 'Glastonbury meets the Ritz' as supermodel prepares to marry Jamie Hince

Friday 1 July 2011

The celebrations will reportedly feature trapeze artists, 6ft 5ins transvestites and, undoubtedly, a slew of paparazzi photographers.
The ceremony will be held at a 12th-century church near her country home in Little Faringdon, near Lechlade, in the Cotswolds, according to The Times.
Among the expected guests are the fashion designers Stella McCartney and Dame Vivienne Westwood. Dame Shirley Bassey is due to perform, according to other reports.
Mario Testino, the photographer, is understood to have been commissioned to document the event.
Moss, who is 37, met Hince, a guitarist with the band The Kills, in 2007. She is reported to be preparing to take her vows in St Margaret's Parish Church near her home.
The reception and wedding party will then take place in a series of marquees which have been erected behind the model's sprawling home, with an 8ft metal fence outlining the perimeter of her estate.
Previous events at the L-shaped home have also seen large marquees put up in the land surrounding it.
Security guards are expected to attempt to keep photographers away but locals have been given passes to allow them through road blocks, The Times said.
Reports also suggest that Hince has broken tradition and appointed his band member Alison Mosshart as a “Best Woman
